Orange Juice

Orange Juice was a Scottish post-punk band founded in the middle class Glasgow suburb of Bearsden as the Nu-Sonics in 1976. Edwyn Collins formed the Nu-Sonics (named after a cheap brand of guitar) with his school-mate Alan Duncan and was subsequently joined by James Kirk and Steven Daly, who left a band called The Machetes. The band became Orange Juice in 1979. They are best known for the hit "Rip It Up", which reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1983, the band's only UK Top 40 hit. more »

I used to do my utmost to suspend belief
Until the day it hit me like a kick in the teeth
In the sensitivity stakes you're less than a non-starter
You don't need a lover, you need a sparring partner

I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
For you

When you say your love is as bold as a flag
I say all I've got to show's a tattered rag
I guess I'll never learn to take the rough with the smooth
I'll never learn to live with that much abuse

'Cause I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
For you

Sensitive

I came home from work each evening (just a little, sensitive)
To collapse in a heap at your knees (a little bit too sensitive)
Now I'm gonna take a rest cure (just a little, sensitive)
I'll rent a cottage by the sea (a little bit too sensitive)

'Cause I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
I guess I'm just a little too sensitive
For you

A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive for you (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
Too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive for you (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
Too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
Too sensitive for you (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
Too sensitive for you (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
A little bit too sensitive (sensitive, sensitive, sensitive)
