"Classic" is a soft rock song by British singer-songwriter Adrian Gurvitz from his 1982 solo album, Classic. It was released as a single in early 1982 and was a big hit in his native UK, reaching the Top 10 and peaking at No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart. It was one of the most played ballads in England in 1982.

Adrian Gurvitz (born Adrian Curtis Gurvitz, 26 June 1949,Stoke Newington, North London) is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. His prolific songwriting ability has gained him hits on the Grammy Award-winning soundtrack "The Bodyguard",Eddie Money’s #1 Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts single “The Love In Your Eyes,” Gurvitz's #8 UK Single Chart "Classic," as well as the Top 10 UK Rock Chart single “Racing With The Devil,” with his band The Gun.
