About Here

"Right Here" is the debut single by the American R&B girl group SWV. It was released on August 20, 1992 as the lead single from their debut album It's About Time (1992), and charted on the Billboard charts as a double-A-side with "Downtown". A remixed version, referred to as "Right Here (Human Nature Remix)" and based around a sample of Michael Jackson's 1983 song "Human Nature", became a number-one R&B single, selling 500,000 copies and earning a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. According to Billboard, the song spent 54 weeks on the R&B chart, which is one of the longest chart runs of all time. Despite the huge success of the single, the group said in early 2014 that they did not like Teddy Riley's remix. Billboard named the Human Nature Remix of the song number 17 on their list of 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs of All Time.

I am thinkin' 'bout the days
We led ourselves astray
In more than many ways
Here, within the time we've spent
Wonderin' what we meant
By livin' all those years
By livin' all those years

We are here with nothing to do today
It's something we can't explain
And tomorrow, where will we be tomorrow?
What will we see today?

I am thinkin' 'bout the days
We led ourselves astray
In more than many ways
(Here) Here, within the time we've spent
Wonderin' what we meant
By livin' all those years
(Here) By livin' all those years
(Here) By livin' all those years
(Here) By livin' all those years
(Here) By livin' all those years
(Here, here, here)
