Spike Jones & His City Slickers

Lindley Armstrong "Spike" Jones (December 14, 1911 – May 1, 1965) was an American musician and bandleader specializing in spoof arrangements of popular songs and classical music. Ballads receiving the Jones treatment were punctuated with gunshots, whistles, cowbells, hiccups, burps, and outlandish and comedic vocals. Jones and his band recorded under the title Spike Jones and His City Slickers from the early 1940s to the mid-1950s, and toured the United States and Canada as "The Musical Depreciation Revue". more »

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth (thweeth)
My two front teeth (thweeth)
My two front teeth. (thweeth)
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth (thweeth)
Then I could wish you Merry Christmas.

It seems so long since I could say:
"Sister Susie sitting on the front steps."
Every time I try to speak all I do is whistle: ssssssss.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
My two front teeth (thweeth)
My two front teeth.
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth (thweeth)
Then I could wish you Merry Christmas.
