Well, I don't know where I'm goin'
And I don't even care
But from tomorrow mornin'
You won't find me anywhere
I'll be gone, long gone

You'll be callin' me back girl
But I'll be makin' tracks
Baby, I'm gone

Baby, I'm leaving on the next thing smokin'
This time, I'm gone and I ain't jokin'
Western, Delta, Continental
Amtrak, Greyhound, Avis Rental
Well, I don't care where I'm bound
Just as long as I'm leaving town, I'll be gone

If you think your eyes deceive you
And you don't believe your ears
While I'm making like Houdini
You can watch me disappear
I'll be gone, long gone

Well, I'll go anywhere
Just as long as you're not there
Baby, I'm gone

Baby, I'm leaving on the next thing smokin'
This time, I'm gone and I ain't jokin'
Western, Delta, Continental
Amtrak, Greyhound, Avis Rental
I don't care where I'm bound
Just as long as I'm leaving town, baby, I'm gone

Well, I don't care where I'm bound
Just as long as I'm leaving town, I'll be gone

I'll be gone, long gone
I'll be gone, long gone
Well, I'll be gone, long gone
Well, I'll be gone, long gone
