"I Breathe In, I Breathe Out" is a song recorded and co-written by American country music artist Chris Cagle. It was first recorded by David Kersh on his 1998 album If I Never Stop Loving You; Kersh's version was not released as a single. Cagle himself later recorded the song for a re-issue of his debut album Play It Loud. Released in September 2001, his version reached Number One on the U. S. Billboard country music charts in early 2002 and number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Cagle the only Number One hit of his career and his only top-40 pop hit to date.  more »

David Kersh (born December 9, 1970 in Humble, Texas) is an American country music singer who made his debut in 1996. His first album, Goodnight Sweetheart, was released that year, producing four singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. A second album, titled If I Never Stop Loving You, was released a year later, producing three additional chart singles. Although he never charted after 1998, Kersh remained active in the music business until 2005. more »
