"Love Will Lead You Back" is a song recorded by American singer Taylor Dayne for her second studio album Can't Fight Fate (1989). Written by Diane Warren and produced by Ric Wake, the song was released on January 20, 1990, by Arista Records as the second single from Can't Fight Fate. "Love Will Lead You Back" debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 on January 27, 1990. It reached number one on April 7 that same year and spent 15 weeks in the top 40, becoming Dayne's sole chart-topping hit in the US. It also reached number one on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In addition to its US success, the song peaked at number two in Canada, number 11 in Australia, number 28 in New Zealand and number 69 in the United Kingdom.  more »

Taylor Dayne is the stage name of Leslie Wunderman (born March 7, 1962), an American pop singer-songwriter and actress. In late 1987, she scored her first major hit when her debut single "Tell It to My Heart" reached #7 on the Hot 100. She then went on to have a string of hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including the #1 Billboard hit "Love Will Lead You Back". Overall, she has had eighteen individual hit songs reach the top ten in Billboard magazine. These include most recently, the 2011 American and international hit "Floor on Fire" and the 2008 song "Beautiful", which reached the top spot in Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play Chart.
