My baby changes like the weather
One day she's warm, and then she's cold
But someday, I'll understand her better
In about a thousand years or so

But as long as there's blue sky above me
As long as there's life in my hands
My baby knows I always will be
Her lovin', understandin' man

My baby rocks me like the ocean
Don't know which way she's gonna go
But, maybe, someday she'll find direction
In about a thousand years or so
