Quadroon

In the slave societies of the Americas, a quadroon or quarteron was a person with one quarter African and three quarters European ancestry (or in Australia, one quarter aboriginal ancestry). Similar classifications were octoroon for one-eighth black (Latin root octo-, means "eight") and hexadecaroon for one-sixteenth black. Governments of the time sometimes incorporated the terms in law, defining rights and restrictions. The use of such terminology is a characteristic of hypodescent, which is the practice within a society of assigning children of mixed unions to the ethnic group which the dominant group perceives as being subordinate. What do I say, where do I go? (I don't know)
Who can I ask for a glass, I need a seat my G
Who can, who can I bother for the time, I need to we (I don't know)

Somewhere, some scared but I come prepared
Not a minute to waste, not a love to fair
Not a minute I chase, my tongue I tear
When I spit from this place in my gut, I fear

Like just my luck, my nightmare is my life right here
Oh my dear
Where are we floating
I don't know but I know that I'm rowing

Wherever we take this boat in the ocean that we float in
What's all that commotion, like no shit
They don't shut up, could really use a woopin'
One more word outta you and get a tongue cut

So my tongue tucked, and my voice hollow
With my gun clutched, my choice follows
Picked up some palo santo, lit it quick
Like king tuts son, ain't a choice to begin it with

What Do I say, Where do I go? (I don't know)
Who can I ask for a glass, I need a Seat my G

Who can, Who can I bother for the time, I needa Be I don't know)

Somewhere, far far from here
They like are you feelin' fine, nah dog I' scared
Saw all they want, like salt on the wound
Can't solve all these problems without a reason to hate

Fall of without em and call off the race
I'm all upset about it, won't fall on my face
Somewhat of a lost cause, cause it's hard to relate
Scars on my arms from blown shards of the

Fragment of fate, don't matter the moment I just
Grab it with grace, f*ck great when you could be the game
Like you could beat the game or not even play it all
One thing I hate, how fame taints the players

At the end of the day I'm just another rhyme sayer
Waiting for the world to change like John Mayer
Yeah, waiting on the world to change
Stationed on the globe like states, just stating

I think this world is exactly we make it
That's the matrix, created
