I hear the opera from my neighbor's shower. 
The walls here don't get much more thin. 
Sometimes I mind it, tonight I like it. I just sit here, listening.
Songs of the war ahead. Songs of their true love.

I hit the center, where the people gather. The concrete bends from the weight. 
I see them talk and fight. And laugh and they cry. My heart swells and I can't believe that I could feel so much. In spite of everything. And how we all still show up. In spite of what they say to you and me.
