Have you ever stopped to think
What makes humans humans?
Well, from a unique capabilites standpoint,
I could think of of two things:
Our thumbs
And words
That's right, good ole fashioned words
I love em
This is the foundation of our existence
We put these things together - they become ideas
They become laws - they become numerical values
We put these things together - they're so important to formulas
But we don't have anything if we don't have words
Just marinate on that for a second

Let's say the Supreme Court declares a beat a human being
Like they did for corporations, then can I still do my thing?
Obviously not, I murder them - every single time
Though I can go acapella and set a melody to rhyme
And hit on every single line I'm a different kind of animal
I don't take no prisoners, no collateral's compatible
I'm Hannibal the cannibal, in so many senses
Eat one rapper for lunch, the rest head for the exits
I grew up on a mission for the cream and the dream

And somehow it works,
It all comes down to words

Words and how they're said
And how they're ordered
And how they're thought
I love me all these words! I LOVE EM!
