Vae Victis

Vae victis (IPA: [ˈwae̯ ˈwɪktiːs]) is Latin for "woe to the vanquished", or "woe to the conquered". It means that those defeated in battle are entirely at the mercy of their conquerors and should not expect—or request—leniency.According to tradition, in 390 BC, an army of Gauls led by Brennus attacked Rome, capturing all of the city except for the Capitoline Hill. Brennus besieged the hill, and finally the Romans asked to ransom their city. Brennus demanded 1,000 pounds (329 kg) of gold, and the Romans agreed to his terms. Gone, hope for tomorrow is
Lost, Awaiting our calling to
Rise up and take back the power to relapse
The system has fallen to disarray
Stand, the masses now gathered to
Fight, the hour impending to
Raise all our voices to make our own choices
The fire inside burns on
Unbroken, conspiracy
Unfathomed, calamity
Black, night coming down on us
Run, nowhere is safe from this
Endless tirade to obey or enslave us
We’re turning our backs on the fallen sons of
War, take up your arms until
Dawn, Stand in the sunlight and
Bask in the glory of chaos and mourning
From dust and from sin we reform
Unbroken, conspiracy
Unfathomed, calamity
Undaunted, deliberate
Unquestioned, insanity
Rise, rise and claim your throne amongst the maggots
Fall, fall and know your sacrifice is vital
Live, living for our kings and masters
Die, dying to renew the cycle
Your crown serves no purpose
In a land of those destined to overthrow you
With fists high and blades sharp
The streets will run
Red
Rise, rise and claim your throne amongst the maggots
Fall, fall and know your sacrifice is vital
Live, living for our kings and masters
Die, dying to renew the cycle
