The Birdwatchers

The Birdwatchers were an American garage rock and pop band, active in the 1960s in the Tampa, Florida area. The band dabbled with an Everly Brothers sound in their early career (1964), releasing a cover version of "Wake Up Little Susie" on Tara, a local Florida based record label.During 1966 and 1967, the band released five singles on the Mala and Laurie labels, in addition to local releases on the Tara, Marlin and Scott labels. Time to finish up
Decided you did enough
You finally give a f*ck
But it's too late
To change your way
Cause come mid-May
You'll graduate
卒業

Your introductions
Aren't enough to form
Lasting impressions

In just over a week, the culmination of fears
As you haven't put the effort into finding a career
I mean, sure, you had fun, but you sure wasted the years
Alright
Now here it goes again

So solemnly
The eras meet their ends
So indifferent
Unassured quality
Scripted to decay
Obsolescent
Unashamed

Totally gr(a/e)y
Spelled with an "e" or "a"
More semantics
Fade away silently
Nobody wants to see
More dramatics
But start the play
