It's the oddest thing
It seems my odyssey doesn't require me to be a king
All it really need is for me to really follow a dream
Instead of lying awaking in my bed sheets, wonder what it really means

Along with a passion what will always be burning for your true wealth
And never let extinguish
Or ever let it diminish by exposing your genius

Cause I'm speaking positively to become a better me
With better self-esteem cause I have the opposite
So it's odd that I explode on the beat with such confidence

Sometimes I amaze myself
The way I blaze this clef with a couple of breaths
That I've submitted, so you must admit it that the way it's spitted
Is legitimate and opens up position that I fitted in
Getting ahead of myself. Maybe slow it down a bit
Cause honestly, I never been the type to be a cocky kid
I'm actually just a quiet kid who finally figured out his gift
To give out to the world, but I haven't finished wrapping it
I try to get it right. The way I write is so precise
That late at night, I find myself staring at the pages white surface
And the worst of it is when I don't know what to say
I guess it's the curse of giving a meaning to every page
