Who will fail? who will prove?
Who will stand? who will move?
Who prevails? who will choose?
Bruised ego follow rules leading to self destruction
Fools gold stolen many times with compunction

Kiss of death from this life is the punchline but no ones telling jokes
We're just laughing at the sunshine
Megapixel junkies, hunting down goodwill
Shoot down the messenger and watch how the good spill
Preconceived notion placed on a face you haven't seen
Hero or disgrace, project and displace angrily
Say you live infallibly, we know that its a lie 
But if we can't just straight deny this isn't that the real tragedy?
Don't feel a thing yet we say we back compassion
Pray for redemption in the realms of what we fathom
Grasp the nettle just to feel 
Because we settle for our choice in the belief

Change, is a natural part of life
You can't escape the inevitable
You can try
It's the chrysalis, seasons in a sequence, the breathing of a dying breed

It makes a change to be a witness to your differences
The metamorphosis undertook, emerging from the chrysalis
There's little point in hoping for it, less in wishing for it
The lesson learned here is to evolve and never live to quit
Many stages in this cage where life is limited
Every hurdle overcome is just a gift existence gives
Treasure every second cos' the grains are quick to drain 
And leave you wishing that you made a change when life had gifted it
