Doubt and Depression hitting
Questioning questions about the route you decide to fit in

Can I really take my time and ace these next few classes for my masters
Or get this promotion I been kicking asses
I been working 
I been grinding 
Its a hustle
I been shining
Put in muscle and yo mental on your goals and  you might still fail
Damn
But that don't make you any lesser
Expect to fail to get your shine like Nikolai Tesla 
Or Jordan back in high school he got cut from the team
Or Lauryn Hill in her youth when she got booed off the scene
See all I'm saying is that it's time to wake up
No matter what you been doing it's time to rise so high that if you fall you still stay up
So here's a glimpse into my story
Shelter to shelter depression was standing right here before me
Moms wanted better sent me to college but It ain't for me
Probation the 2nd semester It all felt too boring 
Damn
Suspension the next
Fam telling me I'm a failure
So I stuck to the music 
They watching me bloom like azaleas 
Went back to college and bust my 1st degree out
Came back broke as f*ck 
Still ain't got my degree now
I went from selling 8ths for 35
Paying rent with the herbs and a security job
Hiding in closets 
Wasn't doing shit on my shifts
Except for listening to beats and penning down these hits
See I would work from night to morning
Head to class no sleep 
Just steady yawning
Kept my head in the books
Opportunities just can't be wasted
And even back then, when I was doing all that I can, see I could feel my soul getting irritated
Now fast forward to current me
Quit my job I'm tired of giving everything else belief
This music shit is what my soul been telling me to focus on
Mind was like wait
Heart said shut up and participate
If I could get these 3 to agree tell me what's stopping me
When they said that all I need was faith the size of a poppy seed
Went through a lot of shit so if you ever see me in the streets just look up to me
Throw up your 3's and scream
