I was thinking just the other day thinking 'bout you and me
Wondering what the hell went wrong and about what use to be
Thinking 'bout the way things are how our lives just came apart
And knowing that it's way to late to make another start

So now I'm living with another but sometimes wishing it was you
Sometimes I'll wake up late at night still dreaming I'm holding you
And sometimes I'll look into her eyes and see you standing there
And after all this time apart I can't believe that I still care

I saw you just the other day with your husband and your child
