Intoxicated by the silence of your cannons fire
Understand your resignation and your contemptuous choir
Separated by the silence: your stoic pacifier
Endless gazing to discover through the limitless sky

You said, Goodbye so long ago
But I can't remember why that it feels so wrong
You said, Goodbye so long ago
But I'll wash your sins away if you just stay strong
And you say you understand me
Gonna make a man see
Talking to my head now
Nothing to explain
To follow me, it's easy

Procession of your resignation
Your fallacy sublime
But sweet the tongue of resurrection
The tangled to unwind

You said Goodbye, I'm letting go
But I can't remember why that it feels so wrong
You said Goodbye so long ago
But I'll wash your sins away if you just stay strong
And you say you understand me
Gonna make a man see
Talking to my head now
Nothing to explain
To follow me, it's easy

Lay down your blade
I'll swallow mine
And tell no-one
Your perfect lie

You said Goodbye, I'm letting go
But I can't remember why that it feels so wrong
You said Goodbye so long ago
But I can't remember why that it feels so wrong
