Tuning out conversations 
I'm trying to change

But i'm stuck on surviving

I've tried to revisit
The things that defined me
But nothing works

I could’ve gotten ahead
Before things got worse
But it came first
I walk
The long way 
I talk
Without making noise
I say 
I'm busy 
With screams 
That make me avoid 
All of the things 
That make me want to run
Until I drop dead
I won't decide 
I don't want to be the one to regret 
I'm trying to live
But I'm stuck on surviving
