Three demons visited me in my room

Crushing down upon my chest
Post-industrial moral blight
Spiritual darkness black as midnight
Bleak urban sprawling mess
In this ever present darkness
In startling hues of neon pink
And with wicked toothed smile
They pointed crooked claws at me
And stayed to laugh a while
Post-industrial winding down
Spiritual darkness blankets this town
In these cold ruins we pretend it's not
But this dystopian future is all we've got
Hell is a metropolis full of empty streets
Where residents avoid contact and never meet
No collaboration
No cooperation
No compassion
No community
Post-industrial moral decay
Spiritual darkness shifts like twilight
Praying for the break of day
That we might receive fresh sight
With a maniacal laugh and a vacant stare
He blew the conche and his cronies gathered there
Such savagery, the hunt is on, torturing all who belong
