I think I might get off soon
I've been on this train for way too long
It started moving when I was young
And I never see the sun

I want to stop and smell the flowers
Pick a lilac and a daisy just for you
But they'd shrivel from the travel
And they'd turn an awful shade of blue
Still I want to pick one just for you

Cause I've been running so far
From any place to call a home
