Next week's no better, Fayetteville
They'd never send me somewhere like Hawaii

I take a drive around the town
Braum's and Quick Trip all around
The locals stare, they know I don't fit in

Passing time like they do here
With bellies full of three two beer
And talk of Jason White and Billy Sims

The water's hard and what that means
I scrub and scrub but can't get clean
Gets orange stains on every bath and sink

There's a run on the bank at the Bailey Building & Loan
But George can't save them he's vacationing in Paris and Rome
Everything that can go wrong seems to have all happened this year

People try to tell me that it could be worse and I know
