I feel like a rag doll
Who's just been tossed against the wall
Crash down onto the timber boards
Now I lie here limp on the floor
There's a fire inside me
That goes out when I'm this weak
And I can't move I can barely breathe
How can I go on
Sometimes I don't even realise
That I've lay down
And shut my eyes
Look up and to my surprise
How time has just flown by
This reflection I see
Is a stranger to me
Curled up in fetal position
Not moving is my mission
Trapped inside my darkened cave
The door's not locked but I can't leave
There's a poet inside me
Who knows no words when I'm this weak
And I can't move, I can barely breathe
But I must go on

That I've lay down
