The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is the central bank of Zimbabwe and is headquartered in the capital city Harare. It is responsible for managing inflation, money supply and other financial activities in the country. The reserve bank is quite controversial on the management of the economy. It is noticeably by the acts such random printing money and its involvement in the country’s black market illicit trade through companies like Spartan Treasures Investment (Pvt) Ltd and Pote Holdings ( Makanaka Investments) where it is allegedly to have been channeling electronic balances (locally known as “MaRTGS or RTGS or AmaRTGS”) through those companies.
