Christian Friedrich Johannes Büttner (Born 1 June 1979), known as TheFatRat, is a German record producer and musician. His genre is often described as "glitch-hop". He is best known for his 2014 song "Unity," which has more than 100 million views on YouTube, and his 2016 Jackpot EP which reached #23 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. As of September 2018, his YouTube channel has over 3 million subscribers and over 615 million views.
