Playing Enemy was a mathcore band from Seattle, Washington. Formed in 1999, the group consisted of Laura Mendoza on vocals and bass, Demian Johnston on guitar, and Tony Weis on drums. They released their debut album "Cesarean" in 2004, characterized by their aggressive and chaotic sound blending elements of metal, punk, and noise. Playing Enemy disbanded in 2006, but their intense and abrasive music remains influential in the mathcore genre.
