D.A.F. (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) is a German electronic music duo formed in 1978. Known for their pioneering contributions to the genres of EBM (electronic body music) and Neue Deutsche Welle, D.A.F. combined punk attitude with synthesizers and driving rhythms to create a unique sound. Their music often features minimalistic lyrics and provocative themes, which gained them a cult following in the 1980s. Despite several hiatuses, D.A.F. continues to be influential in the electronic music scene.
