Cheloo, whose real name is Cătălin Ștefan Ion, was born on March 24, 1978 in Ploiești, Romania. He is a prominent figure in the Romanian hip hop scene, known for his unique flow, provocative lyrics, and outspoken personality. Cheloo co-founded the hip hop group Paraziții in 1994, along with his childhood friend Ombladon (Bogdan Ionuț Păstacă). The group quickly gained a following with their raw and controversial music, addressing social and political issues in Romania. In addition to his work with Paraziții, Cheloo has released solo albums and collaborated with other artists in the Romanian music industry.
