Charles Wright is a musician and singer-songwriter known for his work in the soul and funk genres. He is most famous for being the frontman of the band Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, who had hits in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They are best known for their song "Express Yourself," which became an anthem of the Civil Rights Movement era.
