Brendon Boyd Urie (born April 12, 1987) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who is best known as former lead vocalist and frontman of Panic! at the Disco, being the only member to stay throughout the band's 19-year run.In high school, his friends chose him to be the band's lead singer after initially considering him for the guitarist position. Many of his songs have achieved commercial success, reaching high spots on Billboard charts and millions of sales. On January 24, 2023, Urie announced that he would be discontinuing Panic! at the Disco in order to put his focus on friends and family, following the announcement that he and his wife would be having a child. He currently plays drums in a band led by Mike Viola.
