忌野清志郎 (Kiyoshiro Imawano) was a Japanese musician and actor. He was one of the most influential figures in Japanese rock music, known for his unique blending of various genres and flamboyant stage presence. Imawano started his career in the 1970s as the vocalist for the rock band RC Succession and later pursued a successful solo career. He was recognized for his powerful and soulful vocals as well as his songwriting skills. Imawano passed away in 2009, but his impact on Japanese music continues to be felt.
