Sony Holland has headlined concerts at many of the premier jazz clubs and festivals in the U.S. and Asia, working with top musicians in every setting from quartet to Big Band. Sony and her guitarist/husband, Jerry, started performing together as a duo in order to play bistros and cafes too small for a band. Now their music has developed a magical style of its own. Playing the perfect blend of romantic and upbeat music they turn a concert stage into an intimate setting. The musical couple met on a blind date in Nashville. At the time Jerry was a staff songwriter for Warner Chappell Publishing. His song, FRIENDS, was recorded by John Michael Montgomery and hit #1 on the Country Charts. They married shortly afterwards and moved to California where they perform frequently up and down the West coast.
