Anna-Catherine Hartley, better known by her stage name Uffie, is an American-born, Paris-based rapper currently signed by the French music label Ed Banger Records.
Anna-Catherine Hartley was born in Miami, Florida, but moved to Hong Kong when she was four due to her father's work. The affluent family once intended to spend a year sailing but a typhoon struck and the family had to abandon ship in the Philippines. Hartley later lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Miami, but at age 15 relocated to Paris with her father where she still lives. Hartley attended the International School of Paris on the famous Rue de Passy.
