Svala Björgvinsdóttir (born February 8, 1977 in Reykjavík, Iceland) is an Icelandic pop singer-songwriter. She is most notable for her 2001 hit, 'The Real Me', from the album with the same title. She is now known as Kali, a member of Steed Lord, a house band.
Svala is the daughter of singer Bo Halldorsson. She began singing publicly at the age of seven when she appeared on her father's Christmas album. At the age of nine, she duetted with him on another of her father's albums. During the mid-90s, Svala joined Scope, an Icelandic electronica band that released an album with its only hit, "Was That All It Was?"
