Founded in 2006 synth-pop group THE SWEEPS (based in Hamburg/Germany) shares a deep fascination for analog synthesizers, drum computers and vintage keyboards (Fender Rhodes E-Piano). The band has released 6 albums by self-distribution so far and appeared on some official compilations or 12" - showing a wide range of influences: mostly POP, 70s nostalgia, Italo Disco and Wave. Their latest track IN MY HEART features Kristina Brodowski on lead vocals, male backings by Niels Wesner while Christoph Duwe plays all instruments. Currently THE SWEEPS are recording new material which should see the light of day by mid-summer.
