The Fallen Crow is a Hard Rock/Alternative Metal band founded in late 2013 in the greater metropolitan area of Montreal, Canada. The group formed by five, then college students, consists today of three original members Xavier Boucher (Vocals), Alexandre Calixte (Lead guitar), Nicolas Delgado (Bass), and two later additions, Anthony Doyle (Rhythm guitar), and Simon Yann (Drums). The band has performed in the local underground scene nevertheless reaching a wider public by participating in contests and festivals, playing in renowned venues such as L’Astral and Metropolis. The band draws its influences from bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, and Bullet for My Valentine, amongst others. However, its original work attempts to mix jazz and funk elements into its sound. Such features can be heard across its self produced debut album Against the World (2018). The band is eager to continue creating original content that pushes the boundaries of its genre.
