SPRING OF HOPE CHOIR BRICOSS Spring of Hope Choir Bricoss, often shortened to SOH (created on February 13, 2023) is an exciting and diverse musical group hailing from Bright Comprehensive Secondary School, Maddu – Gomba, consisting of students, teens (13 – 19 years). The group was established for praise, worship, entertainment and educative music. Known for their unique fusion of Zulu, pop rock, and electronic/dancehall sounds, this talented choir has been making waves in the local music scene and has captivated audiences with their soulful harmonies and infectious rhythms. With a passion for creating meaningful and impactful music, the Spring Of Hope Choir Bricoss aims to inspire and uplift audiences through their powerful performances and heartfelt lyrics. Keep an eye out for this talented group as they continue to rise and make their mark on the global music scene EARLY LIFE AND FORMATION Spring of Hope Choir Bricoss, shortened to SOH was created on February 13, 2023. Drawing inspiration from one of the performances made by a renowned Stream Of Life choir from Kennedy secondary school, the formation of the choir came as an idea in 2022 by the school director though the idea was then undermined by some school officials and administrators who had seen it as a wastage of time and money. Earlier in 2023 on the 13th of April, this idea was reminisced by Mr. Nsamba Seth, a movie director at Bright Comprehensive Secondary School. Though he had no support from other school officials, he dexterously conjured the idea and fortunately invested in the choir unto the zenith and hence he became the choir very first patron and director. The choir’s first President was Nagawa Faith and Tumwebaze Mike as the vice president. Spring Of Hope Choir Bricoss has developed a sound that is both infectious and soul-stirring. Their music is a seamless blend of traditional African melodies, contemporary pop-rock elements, and captivating electronic beats, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshing. HISTORY The choir was at first known as Spring Of Life, and was later thought of gaining a new name of Spring Of Hope on 3 April 2023, due to the fact that another choir was using a similar sounding name.
