EST. 2001 in Albuquerque, NM. After years of playing bars and bike rallies these dessert dwellers released their first full length album titled "11 Year Itch" in 2013. The album was a success so they decided to write more music. In April of 2019 they recorded their second effort in Fair Oaks, California called "Headlines". Recorded by Tom Frost, (Miss Crazy). The album was released on December 26, 2019. The band decided to release "Headlines" under the first letters of the bands name "S.H.I", this was to prevent being hassled by promoters and casino management. S.H.I eventually changed guitar players and reformed under the name Shistr. In 2020 they respectively released their third effort debut EP called "Genesis". These songs were written during the Covid 19 pandemic. Shistr is currently working on the follow up to "Genesis". #shistr #shithappensinc
