Kwame Amponsah is a Minstrel Priest called, separated and gifted by an election of grace but not a preference. His gift was born out of service. He's a song writer, a gospel recording artist, Pastor, a trained counsellor and a worship leader. He is the sole composer of the song "MERENSESA  ME NYAME DA" which has become a huge controversy in almost two decades of it release as to who actually wrote and sang that particular song. This album of 12 tracks is still making waves with greater impact by the breath of ELOHIM resting on it. Accompanied with uncountable testimonies.  His passion in leading worship is an evidence that the presence of the Lord is with him. Like he will always answer, " I SING WITH THE SPIRIT AND ALSO WITH THE UNDERSTANDING " . He will not do it without you experiencing HIS presence there and there. It is said that his songs are EVERGREEN, and truly his second album  entitled "AFLAME" tells it all with 14 tracks including "MADZADZE   NYINARA" a sequel track to "Merensesa me Nyame da", WIADZE REKO,  YEDA NYAME ASE and many more...He has latest released singles on ITunes like I'II WAIT ON HIM, SECRET PLACE etc. Kwame Amponsah was born and baptised into Trinity Presbyterian Church of Ghana Takoradi by Gladys Ofosu (Afia Pomaah). who single handedly raised him and his two sisters through the strict Presbyterian Orthodox guidance and upbringing when his father travelled abroad when he was at the age of four and never returned back home. At the age of 10 years, he became the youngest among the men of Trinity Presbyterian Singing Band  Takoradi. Which according to him, he Saw that as a punishment by his mother to be singing with men in the same choir between the ages of forty to the oldest who was over ninety years. It was there he had opportunity to travel around the most places in the land of his birth for camp meetings and church conventions and learned most of the hymns he sings today. It's really took off, when he got born again on his bed by the encounter he had with the Angel-Of-His-Presence whiles he was at the boarding house at St. John's Secondary School in 1994. His conversion was very evident to all students do to his influential role at the school's entertainment.
