Borrowing elements from Hip-Hop, R&B, and Indie Pop/Rock, Mahogany Purple (MP) is a forward-thinking group based in Miami, FL made up of Gabe Garcia, Al Marmolejo, Toussaint Lewis, Alam Monsivaiz, and Julian Cabrera. The group is firm on growing artistically and progressing as an independent artist despite unexpected adversities. In 2018, MP launched Mahogany Purple Presents, a production dedicated to giving audiences a unique and memorable concert experience. Collaborating with other rising artists, MP strives to help shape the Miami music scene where opportunities to perform and share artistry can be scarce. Since then, their audience has grown modestly with the help from their fans. As of recent years, Gabe and Julian simultaneously commit to the group and study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
