About Laura… “Laura Crisci writes about the human condition of love. It’s about a personal journey through the bad times, the successful turn-arounds and the resulting aura of not giving up when the chips are down. There’s no stance against congress or the President. There are no partisan messages, accusations about the ozone or the economy here. “All Is Well” is a fun-filled romp through the blue-collar world of this guitar slingin’ singer. And at the end of the day that’s what rock and roll is all about. John Pfeiffer, Shoreworld/Aquarian Magazine “Her tunes are a delicate narrative weave of life’s ups and downs, fortified with a ringing acoustic guitar and a thumping backbeat.” Robert Santelli (Asbury Park Press, Curator Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). Having grown up as a part of the iconic Asbury Park music scene, Laura has an extensive history of playing with the best of the best from the Jersey Shore. Her original performances have been backed by many veteran players from the shore including former Springsteen members Danny Federici, Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez, Bob Alfano, and Gary Talent, as well as Bob Burger, Bobby Bandiera and Tico Torres from BonJovi. Returning to the music scene after an extended hiatus to raise her family as a single mother, she recorded her first, and now critically acclaimed 14 original song CD, “All Is Well”, and for the past few years she has been traveling and performing extensively in the UK, Scotland, Amsterdam, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and even Morocco, as well as throughout the United States. Besides headlining locally with her full band, she is often the go to solo opening act and has opened for countless established artborken ferris wheel lyricsists most recently including, Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Blackmore’s Night), Carl Palmer (ELP), Eddie Brigati (Rascals), Lulu (To Sir With Love), Gary US Bonds, and Steve Forbert, to name a few. Throughout the years, one thing remains the same, a Laura Crisci performance is always fun, intelligent and thought provoking, and her unique style and sound are a breath of fresh ocean air! “It’s been pointed out to me recently that I tell the story of the girl riding in the car that the Jersey boy was singing about. Until now, it’s always been told from the boy’s perspective and no one ever knew what she was thinking about.
