KC Beck, was born in Denver Colorado on October 20, 1985. KC Beck is an unsigned artist who has had a few close calls with majors. KC Beck has publicly been doing music since 2005 but grew up playing with his father in public since 1998 when he was 12 years old. He is a member of the TCMA (Texas Country Music Association) and ASCAP and has been a member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association Inc) in the past. The first KC Beck demo’s 3 of 4 have disappeared, were bought and paid for by Nashville notorious scam artist Robert Metzgar, with no strings attached. They were recorded by Spike Jones. KC recorded the copperas cove album as a PFC in the Army before getting injured. Around the time of the injury KC was in lengthy talks with Broken Bow Records but devastated when told that due to his military contract BBR would be breaking off all times. After being injured feeling there was something to prove he became a contractor. Deploying to Iraq as a contractor April 7th 2007. While in Iraq the song 17 was written after hanging out with Bret Michaels, as it felt that Bret was going to steel his guitar. “Bret was tired and kept walking off with my guitar on the stage signing autographs, finally I had to say – Bret my guitar”. The album My Car and My Guitar was recorded in 2008 while KC Beck was still in Iraq. The vocals were recorded on an R&R in Nashville. In 2008 the acoustic track of That’s Just me was used in the 50 states, A horse with no name (Film Project). KC, returned to Texas in 2010 where he married his wife Bianca. He started studying and graduated from Texas State University in 2013. In 2015 he attended the Texas Basic Officer Capstone and got his peace officer license. Upon returning from Iraq it was obvious that something was wrong, as major memory lapses began happening, from losing car keys, to losing his Camaro in the parking lot, became a regular thing. The VA was of little help and mostly tried to claim that these memory lapses were not happening. Additional health issues began happening and eventually it was determined that he was suffering from Autoimmune issues from military service, exacerbated by conditions in Iraq. As treatment began to improve health starting 2 points from COPD, he began writing the song Hicks from The Sticks which was recorded and released 2018, followed by a dozen others.
