Godwin Ádams, (born in Delta State Nigeria), was literally raised in a family of singers. He began singing at the age of 6 and made his first public appearance at the age of 12. Softly and tenderly, Godwin Ádams began singing in the children’s choir and as time went by, the many gifts that were planted in him began to unfold. Godwin Ádams knew that music was more than just something that aired on radio and television and even in church. In March of 2000 Godwin Ádams began singing professionally. Music for him became a prerequisite for life with which he ignited a strong passion as a channel to express what he was feeling inside of him even when he couldn’t articulate it. Godwin Ádams is called by some people “the church boy” but more than anything else, he’s one of the most gifted psalmists and multi-talented singer who carries a crystal clear message of love, faith and hope. He’s been ministering and juggling hundreds of singing engagements annually for over the last 7 years, presenting the gospel of Christ across Nigeria and some parts of Africa. He doesn’t strive to entertain, but simply want his audience to experience Christ like never before and be blessed in every way that a person can be blessed both spiritually and physically. Godwin Ádams attributes his singing prowess to his late elder brother, Praise-God, a legendary hero who had an admirable expertise in music, a pianist, song writer, producer, arranger and a tenacious conductor. Godwin Ádams landed collaborations with R&B gospel singer Philip Wilson and Evans Ogboi, a song writer/producer on their debut album in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Influenced by the preaching tenacity of Pastor Paul Adefarasin, mingled with the masterful singing of Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Godwin Ádams sings and preaches what he believes and believes what he sings and preaches about God’s Love, His Faithfulness and His Awesome Power to save, heal and deliver with impeccable abilities. Godwin Ádams has shared the stage with renowned gospel artistes like; Rev Victor Atenaga, Evans Ogboi, Onos Ariyo, Freke Umoh, Joan Paul, Da Bishops, Pst. Onos Queyinde, Frank Edwards, Giftberries, Philip Wilson, Sonnie Badu, Sam Sung, Pst. Marvellous, Pst. Naomi Eriyo, Jomata Isaiah and Simply Chrysolite of South Africa, just to name a few. In September 2015, Godwin Ádams married his long time friend, Nancy Ádams and they both live in Lagos.
