Evaporated Souls is an American alternative rock band with elements of indie, grunge, folk, and shoegaze originating from a small town in Florida. Releasing their first debut album in 2022, Evaporated Souls still have many releases to come as the seed for their music has been planted with this first album. The large majority of songwriting is done by the rhythm guitarist and lead singer Izzy Talkington who first began writing and playing music at the young age of fifteen. The soulful leads that can be heard in the majority of the songs with influences from the all-time greats such as Mike Mccready, Rogers Stevens, and J Mascis are done by her father and lead guitarist William Chadwick Talkington, who is also a singer and songwriter on the side in his other indie-rock band Bus To Nowhere (once Novak). Evaporated Souls’ songs are written straight from the heart and soul with nostalgic undertones of 90’s alternative music giving listeners new unfiltered rock to enjoy almost 20 years after the 90’s music era ended.
