Debbie Sims is a retired pop singer from South Carolina who scored her first 1982 debut single, "Early Light", written by Larry Santos and his partner, Diana Sue Lindley and produced by the late Detroit soul producer, Don Davis, taken from the Private Stock Records debut album of the same, plus she did a Christian-flavored pop/bossa-nova remake of "You're Gonna Make It After All", where she sang the biblical word, "Lord" instead of "girl", originally entitled, "Love Is All Around", originally done by Sonny Curtis.
