Carlos Elsel was born in Madrid 35 years ago. His relationship with music was forged as he grew up watching his mother, Patricia DeVelasco, appear on television programs, playing in the most mythical venues of the capital and recording in the studios with the best musicians on the scene at that time. From it, he inherited the taste for English-speaking music which made him interested in artists such as Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Ray Lamontagne or Paolo Nutini, and these influences can be tasted in the seven songs that make up his first album, A Home Truth
