Jazz drummer who was nicknamed "The Father of Swing". Not to be confused with a modern bodybuilder of the same name. Infamously married the girl singer of his band, Doris Robbins, in 1935, which led to the band's breakup. They divorced in 1957. Ben Pollack died in 1971, two weeks shy of his 68th birthday.
