The whole making of 2 Sides Let me put this closer Oh... uh ReelOSSM 210 You know what I mean Broward Nigga Whore Broward Whore lets get it Naw it all started with "Pillow Talk" Pillow Talk was 2017 Cause I remember, he dropped my Jordan Year And I remember I was running through the tape I was playing Need for Speed on my PS2 bro I was chilling cooling And "Gentlemen" came on The beat Gentlemen came on And I was like Oooh And I was freestyling to it I was like "Where ya mind at uh" And I'm playing the game I'm like I texted this nigga "Sooooo anybody got the beat?" He said "Bruh It's all you." I dropped $25 over there Say less I bought the beat Bruh the next day I hand it back to him, "Pillow Talk" Boom that was it He was like "Nigga" Right And that was the first part So I'm listening to it more, I'm like "Yo I got an idea for the second half" So I'm like alright I messed around with it a little bit I took the sample that he had and then I flipped it And then I just added a beat pattern over it and then I put an 808 on that shit And I just let it ride And I was like "Bruh I got a second half for Pillow Talk, period" Right I sent it to him cause I did, I recorded my vocals over it And I was like let me know what you think I sent it to him he was like "Bruh I gotta drop a bar or two" I said "Say less" I extended it, sent it to him Boom there was "Pillow Talk" So it was just going to be a single When we started bumping it more and more I was like "Yo bro we should do a project where we got literally half and half" Yeah this is end of 2017 This is end of 2017 going into 2018 The beginning of 2018 I was like "Bruh I don't wanna do no project" Geee He was like "Naw let's just keep cooking up singles" I was alright "Say less" And then it started resonating with me more I was like "Naw man like I'm telling you" So I sent him a version where I put them two together I put the A side and the B side together I was like "Bruh like listen to it tell me what you think" He was like "Yeah" He was like "Yeah" I'm like Bruh like we should do a project where we got literally got 2 Sides This is three months ago Literally We were cooking up that whole year Literally Like outside of all the other shit that we was cooking up Like I was still, I still brought that shit up We right there at Regional we was talking about it I was like Bruh we should do it I was like I'm going to push you production wise like you need to do this shit He was like Alright say less And then next thing I know, three months prior to The tape being finished When we finished it, and prior to that like we was talking about I was like Bruh like when this shit is finished when gon come back When gon listen to this shit and it's gonna be like cohesive as fuck This that and the third And Matter of fact it was, it was, what was it? It was "Time Tickin" and "Two Thirds" and It was "Westside" and "Eastside" That was the last two tracks that came together Because we had We wrote "Fallin" and "Trippin" like April last year Yeah but we never recorded it We was chilling out there Cause he had the beats and he was playing em And I freestyled over it and we was writing sumn He wrote some, I wrote some But we never recorded it But we had it And I was like fuck it nigga like, let's do it And we named it and that was that Cause it was orginally for ummm Keso WAASI and Keso right And then that became a thing And then we had Time Tickin and Two Thirds And then you created Time Tickin Yeah yeah yeah Time Tickin was over there I just played it over there just like bruh just do it And then he sent it And then I was like Alright say less And then we had the whole concept together And I was like alright bruh this how it should go And then next thing I know I asked him alright how should we put it in order And bruh Reela is the GOAT when it comes to arrangement When it comes to like organizing shit And putting that shit in order Start with this, do this, do this He said it he was like "Bruh" Pillow Talk this, this, this, this, this that's how it's gon go I was like Had A Long Day don't sound like it's finished Right He was naw So I said Alright say less He sent me one beat And I was like I can't lie bruh, this ain't it. Like go back. Go back to the drawing board I told him that, I told him that straight up I was like alright say less The next day he hit me Boom I was like this the one, this the one, this the one I wrote to that shit I recorded it I sent it back to him He was like yeah bruh that's it I put it together and I was like Alright I was in a Target when this nigga texted me He was like yeah man I wanna do 2 Sides about Miramar Like the Westside and the Eastside and put two and two together And I told him I was like I been on this beat block for a minute but let me produce it If you got the lyrics say less That same night, I went, I cooked up the beats I sent it to him Boom There was Westside/Eastside And then it all came together And it was like I had wrote that at Regional And then recorded it the same day He wrote Eastside right there at Regional Like we was there That was when the girl had came up to us like she was coolin with us Yeahhh And you gave her the lighter, yeah yeah Cause she was chilling she was like Oh so you guys do music Yo you know it's sumn light, sumn light, sumn light But she was coolin Yeah man take this pressure ass wristband Yeah yeah And we passed out the wristbands and that was it And then he finished writing his verse We posted up in my whip I played the beat He d
