Paavoharju

 

Paavoharju is a Finnish psych-folk band, composed of ascetic Christians. They came to attention in 2005 when their debut album was highlighted as a "Best New Music" album by popular indie publication Stylus Magazine. Their second album, 2008's Laulu Laakson Kukista was also selected by noted indie music website Pitchfork Media as a recommendation. The band also toured the United Kingdom in mid-2007, playing shows in London and Bristol.
