Simple Plan is a french-canadian,pop-punk,rock band from Montereal,Quebec,Canada that started at year 2000.The members of the group are:
Pierre Bouvier(vocals),David Desrosiers(bass,back vocals),Chuck Comeau(drums),Jeff Stinco(guitar lead) and Sebastien Lefebvre(guitar,vocals).
The group started with a band called "Reset" when they were age 13 in year 1993,and delivered the albums "No Worries" and "No Limits".
Their first album "No pads, no helmets,...Just balls" was delivered in 2001,this name echoes the popular tag line in rugby:No pads,NO helmets, No pussies.Their second album "Still not getting any" was delivered in 2002, and their most recent album self-titled "Simple Plan".And two live maketed albums:Live in Japan 2002 and MTV Hard Rock Live.
The song from the album "Simple Plan" "save you" was wrotten by Bouvier to his brother Jay, that was getting out of a Qimiotherapy treatment.
The vand also have an asociation named Simple Plan Foundation,that have helped nonprofit and advocacy groups by donating.This focused on teen problems from suicide to drug addiction.Bouvier annaunced plans from the foundation to distribute $1000,00 to organizations that aid childern or families experiencing difficultiues due to handicups or illness.
Bouvier and Comeau own a clothing line called Role Model with their photographer and videographer Patrick Langlois also known as Patrick C. Cunningham.This line mostly markets shirts that include the words "ROLE MODEL".
